We are a world composed of opposites
and, like magnets, we often find that opposites attract.
Notice the hiking shoes chosen by our lovely couple...
( note; female half of this lovely couple
had no idea upon embarkation the
total mileage involved in said hike...
she was thinking a few steps to a viewpoint!).

- Him- sturdy comfortable walking shoes.
- Her - lightweight sandals
Both enjoyed the hike
but only one needed the foot rub after
...Him!

Your picture reminds me of the devotional I plan on giving today - I'm using a pair of hiking boots and a pair of Sunday shoes (with heels) as contrast.
My point is pretty much the opposite of your experience - so please don't share it with my seminary students!
Gotta love the kitten heels for a hike of any duration. It's best to look cute while limping down the mountain...
Reminds me of climbing to the top of a certain volcano in HI. All those Japanese tourists in inappropriate and very funny shoes!!! Way to go ....
